Stunning finish at the Eastbourne Business Awards

The year is 1904 where a vacant shop in Cavendish Place, Eastbourne gains a new tenant named Clement Brewer and the rest, as they say, is history!

Brewers are intensely proud of their Eastbourne heritage; the south east town provided the footprint for what is now a flourishing business over 150 branches strong. Yet Brewers Head Office, the heart of the company, remains embedded and based in Eastbourne.

It was with complete delight and overwhelming pride that Brewers has been recognised by the 2015 Eastbourne Business Awards held at The Grand Hotel in the seaside resort. 

With so many fantastic businesses based in the Eastbourne area, all who deserve merit for being leaders in their own right, the awards were full of worthy winners and was a glittering event celebrating the Eastbourne business community. 

Brewers won two awards of the evening, Large Business of the Year and the most sought after prize of them all, Overall Business of the year!

To receive the accolade of Overall Business of the Year was a humbling experience and personified how important communities are to Brewers, who strive to be part of their local environment in providing opportunities and training, as well as quality products and outstanding customer service to all.
